Restaurant Refrigeration & HVAC Maintenance

Keep your kitchen equipment and cooling systems ready for daily service. Nortek Mechanical provides scheduled maintenance for restaurants that depend on reliable walk-in refrigeration, ice machines, and commercial HVAC.

Maintenance Built Around Your Restaurant

Every restaurant has a different equipment lineup. We build your maintenance scope around your location, equipment condition, operating needs, and manufacturer requirements. Quarterly maintenance is available for individual restaurants and businesses with multiple locations.

We serve sandwich shops, quick-service restaurants, independent restaurants, franchise operators, and restaurant groups in Tucson, Vail, Sahuarita, Green Valley, and Benson.

What Scheduled Maintenance Can Include

The covered equipment and the exact maintenance tasks are established in each written proposal. Depending on your scope, a scheduled visit can include the following.

Refrigeration

Inspect operating temperatures, evaporator and condenser condition, fans, accessible electrical components, doors, gaskets, drains, and defrost operation where applicable. Evaluate signs of icing, leakage, wear, and performance problems. Coil-cleaning requirements are specified in the written scope.

Our refrigeration inspections include fan condition and visible buildup on accessible components. Cleaning requirements are defined in your written maintenance scope.

Ice machines

Inspect operation and condition. Cleaning, descaling, and sanitizing are performed according to manufacturer requirements when included in the maintenance agreement.

Commercial HVAC

Inspect filters, coils, condensate drainage, blower components, belts and pulleys where applicable, accessible electrical connections, and system operation. Filter replacement and coil-cleaning requirements are defined in the written scope.

We inspect filter condition and fit as part of the agreed HVAC maintenance scope. Filter replacement requirements are specified in your proposal.

Proofers

When included, inspect temperature control, door condition, accessible electrical components, and humidification operation where applicable.

A Closer Look at Refrigeration Maintenance

Thorough maintenance includes inspecting the evaporator coil and looking for buildup that can interfere with airflow. These field photos show why we look beyond whether the equipment is running.

Our maintenance scope defines the inspections and cleaning included for your equipment. When we identify buildup, drainage concerns, or developing component problems, we document the findings and explain the recommended next step. Work outside the agreed maintenance scope is quoted separately for approval.

Find Developing Problems Before They Interrupt Service

Our maintenance approach goes beyond checking whether equipment turns on. We look for developing issues such as worn contactors, deteriorating belts, pulley wear, drainage problems, damaged door gaskets, and abnormal operating conditions.

When we identify a concern, we document it with clear findings and photos where useful, explain its priority, and provide a separate repair recommendation for approval. If equipment is already failing, our restaurant refrigeration repair service can address it directly.

Clear Scope. Clear Repair Approvals.

Your maintenance proposal identifies the equipment covered, visit frequency, included cleaning and consumables, and exclusions.

Repairs, replacement parts, refrigerant, and work outside the maintenance scope require separate authorization unless expressly included in your written agreement.

Exhaust fans, kitchen hood systems, and grease-exhaust cleaning are excluded from this maintenance offering.

One Location or Several

For restaurant groups, scheduled maintenance helps establish a consistent equipment record across locations. Nortek Mechanical provides location-specific findings so management can prioritize repairs and plan upcoming work.

Experienced Diagnostics and Practical Recommendations

Nortek Mechanical brings extensive supermarket refrigeration and commercial HVAC experience to restaurant service. Our approach emphasizes honest diagnostics, clear communication, and repairing equipment when a practical repair makes sense.
